About the SIGPS
The SIGPS also referred to as the SI scholarship, is a fully-funded grant that allows awardees to pursue a master’s degree in Sweden. This scholarship is given to 350 awardees interested in contributing to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in implementing the same in their home country at the end of their study.
The scholarship is available to the citizens of 42 countries and for programmes starting in the autumn of 2022. Beneficiaries of this scholarship earn full tuition, a monthly payment of SEK 10,000 to cover their living expenses for the duration of their study period and the opportunity to join the SI Network of Future Global Leaders (NFGL). At the end of the programme, students become members of the prestigious SI Alumni Network.

Here are a few tips for applying for this Swedish scholarship. First, have a great CV that provides a holistic idea of who you are. Use SI published CV templates for that year to meet the required standards. Secondly, obtain reference letters from persons who have known you in a professional capacity. You also need to have at least 3,000 hours of work experience to be considered eligible for this scholarship. Lastly, submit your identity document i.e., a National ID or international passport.
